He / She will participate in the team covering various aspects of SW engineering.
This includes a.o.- design and programming of new SW components.
- aspects of maintenance and improvement of existing products.
- Linux configuration and maintenance aspects.
- He / She will be confronted with various languages (Python, C, C++, LabVIEW, Tcl/Tk, shell scripting, etc…) and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP). Our product environment is mainly Linux oriented.
- He / She will be responsible for development, testing, documenting and maintenance of the SW code.
- He / She closely interacts with system engineering and the SW and HW engineering teams.
- He / She becomes part of a team experienced in Network design
- He / She takes a role in the redaction of the test plan and test cases for the different network projects
- He / She is responsible for the detailed procedures redaction, test execution, debugging in cooperation with the design team
- He / She will perform installations and interventions in the field
Als Product Assurance Manager zal u ingeschakeld worden in de ontwikkeling en productie van ruimtevaartprojecten, en dit zowel voor eigen ontwikkelingen als voor deze in onderaanneming.
U bent verantwoordelijk voor alle acties voor het borgen, meten, rapporteren en verbeteren van de kwaliteitsaspecten (resultaten, klanttevredenheid) voor de toegewezen producten, projecten of functie met als doel het realiseren van de vooropgestelde kwaliteitsdoelstellingen en klantentevredenheid. De nadruk ligt op kwaliteitsverzekering, met voornamelijk een operationele inslag en bijdrage.
Binnen zijn verantwoordelijkheidsgebied hebt u de autoriteit voor het reviewen en goedkeuren van productafwijkingen, betreffende standaards en afwijkingen ervan.
Volgende belangrijke activiteiten behoren tot uw verantwoordelijkheid:
- Implementatie, coördinatie en controle van de specifieke kwaliteitsvereisten, vanaf het stadium van ontwikkeling tot finale levering, en dit in nauwe samenwerking met Engineering, Productie, Project management en Belgische en internationale klanten (o.a. ESA, CNES, Thales Alenia Space, Astrium, etc.)
- Binnen de kwaliteitsafdeling zal U zich bijgevolg dienen te specialiseren in alle aspecten van evaluatie, kwalificatie en verificatie van ontwerpen, processen en technologieën voor ruimtevaart toepassingen (volgens "space" specificaties). Dit zowel voor hardware als software toepassingen.
- Het opzetten en gebruiken van de nodige beheerstools.
- Opstellen van specifieke product en project kwaliteitsplannen en vereisten.
- Uitvoeren van rapportering over projecten, producten, processen en systemen naar management en klanten.
- Zorgen dat kwalificaties, certificeringen en klantacceptaties correct uitgevoerd worden, inclusief de evaluatie en goedkeuring van de resultaten.
- Verlenen van advies en consultancy met betrekking tot kwaliteitsgerelateerde onderwerpen.
- Facilitatie en implementatie van ‘risk assessment’ in een specifiek project- of productontwikkeling.
- Analyse, voorbereiding en contributie van en aan ‘decision reviews’.
