Electronic Components Engineer

Job description

  • He / She becomes part of a space flight team. 
  • He / She is responsible for selection, evaluation and qualification of EEE components for space applications, in line with project requirements. 
  • He / She provides expert technical support on designs, applications, processes and failure analysis with respect to EEE components. 
  • He / She performs component radiation analysis and supervises radiation tests. 
  • He / She acts as technical expert at customer reviews, providing justification for any deviation with respect to applicable standards.
  • He / She supports procurement of electronic components and subsystems. 
  • He / She supports subcontractors performing electronic board manufacturing, assembly and test. 
  • He / She liaises with project Product Assurance.

Job experience

  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent through experience. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in space projects. 
  • Detailed understanding of the various technologies for electronic components. 
  • Detailed understanding of relevant ECSS standards. 
  • Bi-lingual (English, Dutch).

  • Well organized, maintaining overview, being able to distinguish important from less important matters. 
  • Accurate and result-driven. 
  • Possess good communicative skills. 
  • Being able to express yourself fluently in English. 
  • Eager to learn. 
  • Dynamic, motivated and responsible.
