Antwerp Space has developed a series of products meant to fly on-board space missions, both commercial and institutional. Leveraging on our broad expertise in space communication and the most advanced techniques, we deliver state-of-the-art equipment that answer our customers' needs. Our capabilities cover different markets, from the stringent requirements of human spaceflight to small satellite constellations, through specialized scientific payloads.
Products in this domain are TT&C transceiver (available with integrated Payload data Downlink, from X to Ka-band), Inter satellite links as well as Leo-Ground transceivers typically working in the K and Ka band domain.
Antwerp Space has been awarded with multiple contracts for the communication subsystems, due to the specific in-house expertise with complex RF technology and flight projects. Such projects are for instance EXOMARS 2020 and JUICE, both deep space missions that will respectively target Mars and Jupiter. Antwerp Space is here responsible for designing, integrating and testing of the complete Communication Subsystems.
Antwerp Space can offer highly integrated PNT payloads for small satellites, as well as services in the Galileo Domain. Experienced and security cleared staff of Antwerp Space is available for such cooperation and new equipment developments, for public as well as PRS applications.
Antwerp Space can offer efficient RADAR equipment for small satellites (smaller 120 kg) by combining the advantages of integrated photonics (as beam combining, phase shifting, filterings, frequency conversion or photonic assisted ADC) with the classical RF domain (e.g. SSPA, phase array antennas). Such products are typically highly customized solutions.
