Antwerp Space's new high-end optical table
on the foundations of the building
Our photonics team is very proud to say that today we had our new high-end optical table installed!
It’s placed on the foundations of the building, floating on air cushions and mechanically damped, to allow ultra-sensitive measurements to be performed without disturbances or vibrations from external factors.
Using this setup, our state-of-the-art research in photonic integrated circuits can be measured in the optical and RF/microwave domain up to Q/V-band, with unprecedented accuracy.
